2012-02-21 Squat Deload and Program Stuff

Changed some stuff around. Squat day is now Squat/BBB Dead/KB Swing, Dead day is now Dead/BBB Squat/GHR. Unsure of ab work there given that 5x10 deads today is getting a pretty hefty sensation in my abs even at 185 bar weight. Deads (at least the BBB ones, not sure about the main ones for the time being) will be done TNG in line with Emevas's suggestion. Also guess who I consulted with the general program changes. >.>

Squat Deload Day

Squat - 45, 95
5x 155, 190, 230
Much harder than I'm comfortable with. I think I'm going to add a day after benching to see if it helps, since most of the issue seems to be upper back tiredness (...which probably comes from bench day, what with the benching [with a tight back], chins [with deliberate focus on back recruitment], push-ups [with a tight back that actually gets more fatigued from these than from anything else I do on any day of this program], inverted rows [with deliberate focus on back recruitment], and prone internal rotations [which are stabilized heavily by the upper back]). I think I have some idea of why I'm caving over on all my squat sets.

TNG Deadlift:
5x10, 185lbs
So uh
This was interesting
Mild shoulder discomfort until I brought my grip out slightly
Getting better at the control aspect
Looking forward to doing these with real weights. Y'know, like the ones Emevas uses.

DB Swing:
5x15, 45lb DB
Upping the weight next time, and possibly alternating with the Deads to save time. That'll be fun. My ass feels like it's the size of a watermelon.
